Features of the Medical Office Scheduler The Medical Office Scheduler main function is to organize schedules and appointments for patients, physicians, resources, equipment, exam rooms and staff. Once a patient’s appointment has been scheduled, the co-payment amount due, authorization expiration date, and/or insurance expiration date automatically appears on the printed schedule. Filter appointment option – allows all common appointments to be shown grouped together. Quick identification – color codes can be assigned to help identify appointments. Multiple/Recurring – simple recurring appointment feature helps save time when dealing with patient’s who require multiple visits. Status notices – you can document status notices, like No Show, Waiting Room, and Checked Out Quick search – you can search for next available appointment times, or by patient name to view all appointments specific to that patient. Manage appointments – appointments can be copied
and pasted within in the program. Created with the user in mind, the multiple schedule vies allow you to work in the environment that works best for your needs. In addition to having the ability to view up to eighteen physician schedules side-by-side, a schedule can be viewed in daily, weekly, monthly or yearly format. And no matter which schedule you prefer, it can be printed off in all scheduler views. Schedules You can create and print customized schedules specific to your needs. Encounter forms can be produced in single or batch form. Once you have inputted your specific office-set criteria, rules-based scheduling prevents appointments from being planned if they create a conflict. You can also set up minimum time increments between appointments, so that your scheduling is specific to the needs of your physicians. Patient Management Dealing with an increased number of patients, as is often the case in today’s healthcare industry, requires you to have superior patient management capabilities. Our software allows you to track demographic information and multiple insurance providers (primary, secondary & tertiary). If the patient’s insurance provider changes, you can update the new information while archiving the old information The functionality of our system allows you to attach patient and office documents in a variety of multimedia formats, including images, movie and audio files, and Microsoft Office files. There is also a series of patient-specific features, such as; the ability to set automatic recall notices; the ability to save date, time and user-stamped notations about patients and; monitoring how patients are referred to your office.
